Oscar Mayer joins the war on ice cream with its Ice Dog Sandwich
Despite 72% of voters voting “No” to this on the company’s Twitter poll, they’re still going to go forward with this nonsense.
Brands are at it again and the war on destroying ice cream as we know it continues. One day after French’s announced their limited edition “Mustard Ice Cream,” Oscar Mayer decided to double down with their very own “Ice Dog Sandwich.”
“Who eats just mustard @Frenchs? Condiments were made for Oscar Mayer hot dogs,” tweeted the American meat and cold cut brand. “Say hello to the Oscar Mayer Ice Dog Sandwich - hot dog flavored ice cream, made with our better hot dogs, sandwiched with spicy mustard.”
Oscar Mayer says its “Ice Dog Sandwich” will be available in New York City the week of August 12th for free through its Wienermobile. If you aren’t in NYC and don’t love yourself, you can also DM the company a message on Twitter and you might be able to try it through a limited giveaway.
