I AM READY. Though I know this will be a hard watch for me personally because of the racial aspect. But I’m interested to see how they tackle the ATL murders. I started the Atlanta Monster podcast but didn’t finish. I’ll probably go back to it in preparation for this.

Are you me?

I've tried to get into Atlanta Monster time and time again and always get pulled away. I started it back up to prepare for next week.

Same, I started and restarted a few times. It took a minute to get my attention but then it became too much for me emotionally because of the lack of response to so many kids being murdered and hearing the first hand accounts from the people that were effected by it. I went into it not knowing what the case was about and wasn’t prepared.

Did you listen to the Up & Vanished podcast? I really got into that which led me to Atlanta Monster but even though it was handled by the same team it didn’t click for me the same way.

That podcast is veeeeeery frustrating. I mean, so is the case itself, so how could an investigation be otherwise, but I'm not at all sure that dude was the right one to tell that story. (Wayne William def belongs in prison, though.)

Yeah, I agree. I went into it without knowing what it would be about because I listened to the Up & Vanished podcast and got hooked but Atlanta Monster seemed like such a departure from how that pod was handled and just the case itself was frustrating but also personally triggering cos of how too many people didn’t give af and hearing the accounts from the people that were effected was very emotional. I had no idea about these murders before the podcast and that made me really upset.
