the most meh episode of season 4 for me was the last one, lol. [Spoiler (click to open)]i'm not lgbtq, but as a woc and immigrant i'm kind of over the idea that those of us who are part of oppressed groups should reach out and ~~help~~ those who oppress us and be kind to them and all the kumbayah shit that the fab 5 seem to always be pushing. like they dgaf about us when we're in trouble, but we should help them anyway?? idk, feeling cynical about this shit lol. like that guy saying he's never met a gay man... he prob has but they're too scared to come out to him and his "conservative family". idk, stop making over yt dudes too lmao. more poc and women please.
Tbh I find it hard to get through the straight white conservative men episodes. I know it‘s supposed to be all feel good shit and we do have things in common but yeah just feels awkward sometimes knowing they‘d never be this accepting if it weren‘t for the cameras.
yeah, like, i can't feel any kind of emotional connection with those types of candidates like s4's last person and the cop with all that maga shit in his house. idc if these types of ppl dress bad, can't cook and have gross hygiene, lol. let them suffer tbh.
they are definitely only "accepting" for the cameras and the free shit.
Fave S4 moment was definitely Antoni and the corgi. I have never felt more represented by a person on television.
As a middle school teacher the first episode was really sweet and made me reflect on whether I'm doing enough in my classroom to make LGBT kids feel comfortable and loved. I have had several students come out to me and be open about their experiences, so hopefully that environment is there, but that episode just reminded me how important it is for kids to have that space, especially if they aren't getting it at home.
I cried every single episode of season 4. When Wesley met the guy who shot him, he was so mature about it. I don’t know if I would’ve been able to handle it like he did, the guy still was an asshole so guess prison didn’t help.
Kenny was so sweet and glad they got him another dog. I don’t know what the heck was going on with Wanda’s house like not a single piece of furniture besides the bed. The soldier who suffered head trauma and the dad with the 10 year old skater daughter were so cute.
