pink seems to have moved passed all that and is a mom and moral authority which i love bc i find her to usually be right and love that she uses her platform like this

I don't really have beef w/ Pink, but I do find it funny that she's kind of made a career on marketing herself as 'different' from all the other pop girls (more than once she's made references to Britney, Jess, Xtina, etc. and how she's ~not like them~), yet she's worked with almost ALL of the same producers that the other pop girls have at some point (ie Max Martin, Dr. Luke, Linda Perry, etc).

So fucking stupid and I kinda love Pink and Jessica Simpsons's complete "fuck you" attitude towards mom shaming. I got mom shamed for everything because I was like 18 and bad at standing up for myself. My daughter when she was 4 had a rat tail curl that grew like 3 inches longer than all her other curls. It drove her nuts and she asked me to cut it to be the same as the rest and I did (because I'm her fucking mother) and I had to deal with months of snide comments from her dad and my ex MIL because they used to be weirdos who believed you shouldn't cut little girls' hair. Then she wanted blue hair like mine and it literally broke my heart to tell her no, because I couldn't risk them jerking around my visitation over it.

Thankfully, he's chilled out now that he's out from under his mother's thumb but back then it was genuinely fucking terrible because you can't argue with shit like that. I was just like "??????" and then got really pissed because they ended up making my daughter upset over it. Then for the next 3 years, my daughter would mention how "you cut my hair when you weren't supposed to" because that's what they've said around her and she parrots it. She's sensitive and a people pleaser so it sucks to have them put all these expectations on her.

It's only gonna get worse the older she gets and the more she wants to emulate her mother because they absolutely fucking hate me and everything I'm about.

That was one of the things I was lucky with. My ex stayed out of shit.

Mom-shaming is out of control. And likely hypocritical.

I want to dye my hair pink again, but except for British Directions nothing works for me if I don't want to strip my hair.

There's hair dye where you don't need to bleach? Mind blown.

Arctic fox usually works on all shades of blondes and browns but man pravana doesn't even work on light brown so idk how arctic fox does it!
