No lie my hot boy summer has been 🔥🔥. Kicked it off graduating with my second masters, then went to the Bahamas and Miami. I basically decided to distance myself from friends who were super flakey but ice pushed myself to go out alone and go to meetups and it's been wonderful. Now, there are def moments of felling lonely or alone, my boyfriend have been a good comfort and has been pushing me to be at peace with myself, overall supportive.

omg! congratulations, that's major! and a supportive man to compliment your accomplishments...? get! it!

putting yourself out there can be tough, but no matter how it goes it's always for the best: you get over the fear of rejection for a time or you make some new friends. either is a win.

so far i haven't melted and that's really all i set my expectation for. i'm in a weird holding pattern right now, but overall i'm good. i've had more fun than i planned for but i don't think i've been as productive as i need to be, but i'm ok with that.

Anyways, yeah putting myself out there is fun for me. I actually like being in places where I don't know anyone. I've gotten better and better.

i agree--and it has the added benefit of keeping your current friends on their toes when you start regaling them with tales of all of the new people you meet on a regular basis. they can get complacent if they want but that that'll just get 'em left behind.
