I looked it up. She said shes never gonna be 27 bc thats too old. Which may be just a flippant comment but given her depression I do worry a bit about that statement. At its most harmless I guess she thinks 27 is kinda elderly. I know she's 17 but when I was 17, although I thought 27 was a legit adult and you'd have most things figured out, I didnt think it was 'too old'.

I just hope that there is no part of her that romanticizes the whole 27 club thing. She's been through a lot, is still going through a lot(and is overworked) and I don't want her to decline further as time goes on.

ive had depression my whole life and when i was her age i was like "im never getting to 30" not that i wanted to kill myself before 30, but i literally couldnt imagine making it that far. im 27 now and i feel that way about turning 40. i just cant see myself being a 40 year old woman. its a weird thing depression does.

Oh man me too! I used to joke that I'd die before 30 so that's why I gotta live it up now and screw my student loans. Lol I am now 31.

I get what you mean, i think there’s something to worry abt in her statement but also i think it’s just she thinks 27 is super old. I remember when i was a teenager anything over 21 felt so grown up but it’s just one of those things that the older you get the more you realise how young you still are with each passing day
