The Zoey 101 cast sans Jamie Lynn Spears (she was filming a show in Atlanta) and Alexa Nikolas (she wasn't invited) reunited after news of Nick being in talks with Jamie Lynn Spears for a Zoey 101 reboot came out. Even though Jamie Lynn couldn't make it, she posted a video on instagram of the cast singing the Zoey 101 theme song "Follow Me" for her. The cast also tried to facetime her, but she fell asleep and was sad she missed it.

In contrast, Alexa Nikolas made multiple stories and comments about not being invited to the reunion. On Chris Massey's instagram, she commented asking why she's still left out when they're 30 and adults now. Then she made multiple instagram stories about how the Zoey 101 reunion is triggering childhood trauma for her, how she never wanted to be part of the Zoey 101 reboot, especially if Dan Schneider will be invovled, and how Dan Schneider and others who worked at Nick are creeps.
