Yeah it’s based off a book (iirc?) where a cis guy pretends he’s a trans man to get with a lesbian, and in a scene they have sex and he turns off the lights and tricks her into thinking his dick is a strap on

The director might have changed some of that for the movie.

i think it's worth seeing? since it was already made lol. it's like deeply problematic but not in a way that absolves the characters of wrongdoing? idk.

edit: actually reading some of the tweets linked below... maybe don't go see it. at least don't pay for it.
