I haven't watched (I don't have Hulu) but I won't be putting in the effort I don't think now.

I found out about that and have just decided not to bother now. The movie was disappointing in a few ways anyway.

because it hit at the right time and a lot of us were desperately hungry for a woman led show where she was tough, funny, and well, Nancy Drew.

We finally got our Nancy Drew show and Veronica was tough, sweet, and funny. we wanted more shows like that as teenagers/young girls ourselves. that's why we showed up for the movie, that's why we showed up for this shit season, but since she's regressed as fuck, unfortunately it's why a lot of us are now done.

there aren't enough light hearted shows around with that vibe and humor. especially if you are like me and find yourself ironically hating most police procedural shows but just want a fluffy mystery a week/ep.
