Honestly, I'm hoping every generation would have its Harry Potter or Hunger Games or even Twilight, something that gets young people reading (that aren't life-long readers) and gets them into the habit of reading.

I feel like it's somewhat down to the parents -- if they don't introduce their kids to reading early, they just might never get into it because there are so many other distractions now. I feel like my niece is just literally always playing games and watching videos on a tablet. :\
