Halloween '18 felt so predictable and by the numbers.

The best scene that felt fresh was the new Loomis being crazy and helping Michael escape but then he dies like five minutes later.

Also I respect him as a filmmaker but Carpenter just comes off as a crotchety old man lately.

I loved the movie. To me the biggest issue was the fact that they showed EVERYTHING in the trailer.
