It would be odd if they added a new original song for Bombalurina just bc Taylor is playing the part.

Fingers crossed it's just a new single from Lover and not related to the musical

Yep, but I read on reddit that she's expected to release one or two more "promo singles" prior to the release of Lover.

If she gets an original in-film or credits song and JHud doesn't I will seriously question whomever is in charge over at the Cats film production

they really must have bent over backward to get her to sign on. It's being marketed as a Taylor Swift vehicle but stars a bunch of more talented people in larger roles...

I kinda figured the opposite, given that she had just wrapped her stadium tour and went straight to production on Cats, no down time she had to have wanted to be in this movie, plus her love of cats.
