Jon Stewart is furious that Senator Rand Paul blocked the 9/11 First Responders bill + More

Responding directly to Rand Paul, Jon Stewart called Paul's objection to extending the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund “absolutely outrageous,” adding, “Pardon me if I’m not impressed in any way by Rand Paul’s fiscal responsibility virtue signaling.” https://t.co/yL0l1tTAES

Jon Stewart went on to condemn Rand Paul for supporting President Trump’s $1.5 trillion tax cut that “added hundreds of billions of dollars to our deficit” and now trying to “balance the budget on the backs of the 9/11 first responder community.” https://t.co/yL0l1tTAES

Jon Stewart is pissed that Senator Rand Paul voted against funding the 9/11 First Responders bill today, because Republicans only care about the debt when something might benefit poor and middle class people. He was quite happy to vote yes to give the richest people and corporations a $1 trillion dollar tax break though.

Meanwhile (get out your vomit bag) tr*mp voters are now chanting "send her back" about Ilhan Omar at his rally because she and The Squad dared to criticize him.

Remember: Rand Paul was happy to vote for Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell’s trillion-dollar tax handout to millionaires, but he blocked my request for unanimous consent on the 9/11 first responders bill.

My God. They are chanting about a duly elected US Congresswoman. This is the United States of America. Chants encouraged by the President of the United States. Not only is the UnAmerican. It’s dangerous to her safety. https://t.co/hbEu0q97hX

And it will only get worse. And we thought the #ConcentrationCamps were the bottom. He is doing everything he can to get them killed. If ANY of them are harmed. Blood will be on his hands. And he doesn’t care. Isn’t that fun? In a gut punch to the stomach kinda way? #FixItJesus https://t.co/neXTJ2lQtN

This isn’t shocking or new at all. This is what this nation has always been. This is the bones of our body, those racist ones we all like to say we don’t have.

Stop denying your skeleton, America. The only way out of this is to face who we are and do something about it. https://t.co/WTbKCvATg0

You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I’ll rise.
