I'm sure they are well aware that the odds are stacked against them. But boycotts are just one part of resistance.

Okay, boycott Amazon. Don’t buy anything from them on Prime Day. But what else do they own? You have to do your research. Don’t shop at Whole Foods, don’t use Twitch, don’t log on to Goodreads, no Audible, no Shopbop, no Zappos... the list of shit Amazon owns goes on and on.
Boycotts, while symbolic, aren’t able address to the structural problems of capitalism and worker exploitation. Even through collective action, individuals won’t be able to send a message to a giant like Amazon. What would real change really look like?
That being said. The boycott shows solidarity with the worker’s protest.
