She is! My friend won some contest to fly to Japan to meet her and there were Avril fans WAITING AT THE AIRPORT FOR HIM. Just to see the person who was gonna meet Avril. And some blog interviewed him. It was bizarre af to me.

Might have been intentional. She hated all the scrutiny that came with the fame. At least now she gets to make music on her own terms.
