Hmmmmmm.

I feel like the reason the first one worked so well was that it was so unexpected, both in plot, as well as in Colin Firth playing an action hero and Taron as an unknown rocking up in his first movie with a lot of charisma.

This trailer so far doesn't grab me the same way. Maybe because I just think of Ralph Fiennes as Voldemort? I want to like it though - I like a lot of the cast (Matthew Goode, swoon).

Edit: Also, definitely was expecting Wonder Woman to come from left of screen in this trailer.

I thought it wasn't related to Kingsman, tbh?

It's basically an origin story for the Kingsman organisation. The cast is different, but it will have connections to the Eggsy trilogy - according to IMDB Aaron Taylor-Johnson is playing a character called Lee Unwin, and Eggsy's name is Gary Unwin...

Also IMDB says Charles Dance is playing Arthur! Which I am definitely here for.

[Spoiler (click to open)]Lee is Eggsy's dad. IDK if you didn't know that but it's mentioned in the first movie.

Sorry, thought that might be a
spoiler.

Ah no worries! I must have known that at one point but forgot. I don't think it's really a spoiler.

Edit: Also, I just noticed your icon. Justice for Roxy tbh.

I'm so sad that you only think of Ralph as Voldemort. He's such a brilliant actor and has given so many wonderful performances in so many other films: Schindler's List, Strange Days, The End of the Affair, In Bruges, The Constant Gardener, Oscar and Ludinda ... just to name a few.

I have seen him in other things (I liked him in Grand Budapest Hotel) but I find his manner slightly creepy anyway tbh so maybe that's why I remember his Voldemort.
