This. Unless I can be relatively close to the stage, I don't see the point of going to anything. Seeing some dot of person far away or on a huge screen is not worth hundreds/thousands of dollars

I paid a lot of money to see Paul McCartney in a huge stadium because he's my hero. 4th row and he was still a tiny dot. I loved seeing him but I'll never pay that much again! It's not just the show but the hope that you don't have to sit near jackasses all night, there's too much risk with big names

I somehow got pretty lucky when I saw him because I was able to get a ticket two days before the concert for fairly cheap.

If it makes you feel any better, I’ve seen Paul 8 times over the last 15 years, and he’s pretty much putting on the exact same show every time with very slight differences (likes a new song here and there).

So the last couple of times I just got nosebleeds and enjoyed it for what it is while remembering the first few times I saw him, lol. Save yourself the $$ in the future. You’ve seen him once, you’ve seen him. And I say this as a stan.
