the only reason i don't want this is because i want a new Beyonce album that isn't for this movie or doesn't have Jay (even though i enjoyed EVERYTHING IS LOVE) i really thought we'd get a new solo album by now

i love that everything is love is lowkey a beyoncé album.

beyoncé has albums worth of unreleased music that we'll probably never hear and i've made my peace with that--although i still want to hear her alleged two or three unreleased sophomore albums every badly.
she typically releases a studio album every three years so we could still get it by q4--if she's feeling generous. it would make sense for her to capitalize off of the success of the lion king, but she dropped homecoming which could be her way fo saying, "fuck ya'll i'm going home to raise my fiftyellem kids!" and i wouldn't be mad in the least.
