JUST IN: Turns out, @scooterbraun's Ithaca Holdings, which recently bought Big Machine Records, has CARLYLE GROUP as a SHAREHOLDER.

Carlyle Group is notorious for funding genocide in Yemen, among several other atrocities to humanity.

this drama has confirmed my suspicion that Taylor idolizes Tori Amos. A lot of the stuff she said in her statement sounded word for word like what Tori said in her book after her split from Atlantic. Just that back then, internet stan culture wasn't as mobilized. If Tori's height had coincided with internet music stan culture, the Swifties and the Beyhive would look tame.

anyway, Team Taylor because I'll always realize someone who signed a record deal at 15 got hosed. And idk much about Scooeter but I feel like he's not taking good care of Ariana after everything she's been through. And music managers are all so notoriously sleazy, why? I guess because they're always working with young attractive people they just go max sleaze? it's gross. Plus if Cultist Bieber thinks Scooter is a great guy then I know he must be repugnant.

The lyrics, and the difference between the two artists. Tori can cry all she wants to about Atlantic and the other deals she felt that went sour and she sure as fuck did, but she made her bed. I’m a huge fan of both Tori and Ani, but Tori has no place to whine. She got out of one contract only to complain about the next one. When you're beholden to someone else, you are subject to their terms.
