Yeah they almost didnt cast Lizzy as Janis bc they said she was too beautiful. I always thought that was weird bc she used to hang with Regina so of course she wouldn't be an unattractive person.
I also remember Tina Fey doing press for the movie and preaching about not being a mean girl but then she went total mean girl about Paris Hilton on The Howard Stern Show. That was when I first started seeing the hypocrisy of Tina. Like girl just bc you wear glasses and have brown hair doesnt mean it is any different when you talk shit about another woman. Like Paris is shitty but stay on the message you're trying to send.
Tina definitely has some "cool-girl/I'm-not-like-other-girls" mentality. I do like on 30 Rock when she/they meta-make-fun of her for it- she recalls the "popular kids" being mean to her in hs but then it flashes back to their perspective and they were all scared of her because of how nasty she was to them, lol.
