Seth was a Bernie Bro last election. This time he likes several candidates. They talk the bad word (electability). Me-again points out that Seth tweeted the other day that Dems need to stop eating their own. Seth brings up purity tests and that it’s destructive. He wants people to focus on the existential threat of Tr/mp first. Seth was m.c. for Tr/mp Comedy Central roast. Seth remembers two things - he was dull and very quiet, and you couldn’t joke about bankruptcy. Say whatever else, but don’t make fun of his (lack of) money. [Bwah ha ha Don-the-Con-Grifter.] They talk about The Loudest Voice the Showtime show where Russell Crowe plays Roger Ailes. Seth plays Brian Lewis who develops a sort of conscious mid-way through the story arc. Seth talks about how it’s hard to “hate up close” in that (paraphrasing) once you’re in a room and talking to someone, the vitriol we see on social media isn’t there. Seth feels like Dems have to learn how to engage with the opposition to influence them differently (eg change their minds) rather than writing them off. The Orville was picked up for a 3rd season (yay). Whoopi plants a Star Trek TNG joke, talks about Stewie from Family Guy. He talks about how much fun it (Orville) is. And he sings standards and has an album out Once in a While.

When E Jean Carroll story broke, R/pey McR/person said She’s Not My Type, which is different than actually saying he doesn’t r/pe. Whoopi feels we’re so de-sensitized. Sunny reminds r/pe isn’t about sex or attraction, it’s about power. He also said the same about Stormy but paid her $130K. Me-again says Oh so there’s a type that he would r/pe. Normal man would say that’s a horrible accusation I’d never do that, versus she’s not hot enough. They bring up Biden took airtime for touchy-Joe whereas this (Tr/mp) was once again largely ignored [NYT trash for how they /didn’t/ handle it well]. Me-again brings up Carroll’s comments on CNN about people thinking it’s sexy (culturally, as a diffusion to believing the truth), then Joy brings up GWTW scene with Rhett and Scarlett. /weird/ Then Sunny plops a legal note saying Tr/mp denied the allegation.

300 migrant children relocated from border control facilities after being found in shockingly squalid conditions. Prisoners live better. Manson had soap, McVeigh had toothpaste. Me-again said blah blah because the only thing that occurred during Obama was if the children were in an abusive situation. Whoopi wants a re-set (because the convo had gone astray). Calls out why are these people being treated this way when enemy combatants and our own prisoners are treated better. Before Tr/mp admin, no child had died in border control custody. Joy reminds if they were from Norway, would it still happen. Me-again takes issue with them being called torture facilities, because her father was a p.o.w. did you know that. Compares Hanoi Hilton to border control facilities. Sunny goes in, says let’s pay less attention to the name vs what is happening, it devolves again because Me-again is triggered. Joy holds her own, pointing out that the child separation was done on purpose as a deterrent but isn’t working and is a humanitarian disaster. More bickering, Sunny shouts THERE ARE SEVEN DEAD KIDS. Whoopi brings up that citizens brought supplies as donations, but they were turned away [this country is a hellscape of gestapo racists]. Me-again is still triggered about her dad.

Lunchtime came early. Chef Art and Bear Naked Chef Adrian talk about fried chicken and mac n cheese. Art had cooked for Bush41, Bush43, Clinton, and Obama … but not yet Tr/mp, thinks food brings us together. Tr/mp likes KFC so he’d make fried chicken. Recently traveled with Michelle Obama, said she had loads of energy. They ask if Bear is naked (he’s not) and he says he wears an apron for health reasons bloop. Whoopi helps with the fried chicken, Joy helps with the mac n cheese. The chefs and panel goof around and make double entendre jokes and actually eat the food. Art is pairing with Lady Gaga DJ for a Gay Pride Event, they talk about that. Look for the Rainbow Rooster.
