Everytime I have this conversation with a TERF they point to a single action or an insanely small minority of people who believe whatever it is you're trying to twist. it's very difficult for people to see that though, because everyone is yelling and screaming and causing a huge divide in these posts. i've been called a both a TRA and a TERF on ONTD. oh dear, what am I? lmao. I don't care what strangers on the internet have to say about me. I know what I am. these posts have become absolutely pointless and devoid of any actual meaningful conversation. it's just a way for both sides to try to get members they don't like banned. it's ridiculous.

It's like, we can advocate for laws that prohibit discrimination against trans/gnc people in housing and employment, we can ask for funding for shelters and programs for trans youth, we can stand up for everyone's right to dress and present themselves however they want, WHILE ALSO advocating for sex-based legal protections, for women and girls to be able to talk about our bodies and experiences without having to police our language, and for lesbians to be left alone and have their terms/spaces/marches back.
