Laquana Morris, also known as Layla Lace, received a $350,000 settlement from Drake for sexual assault. She is now filing a complaint against her former attorney Alexander Cabereiras. She says he privately negotiated with Drake's attorneys, agreed to release a joint statement that made Drake look like the victim, and refused to give her the paperwork and settlement agreement.[tw: sexual assault]
Her sexual assault claims says that Drake forced her to perform oral on him and spit in a cup that he poured over face.

Manchester police were notified in June 2017, but cleared Drake of any wrongdoing. Drake claims the sex was consensual and that after Layla refused to take a paternity test after claiming he got her pregnant, she changed her claims to sexual assault.[tw: suicide attempt]
After a fake lawsuit filed by Drake, Layla tried to commit suicide and then the $350k agreement was settled on.

Layla feels she was done wrong by Drake, Drake's attorneys, and her own attorney and says she has emails, text, audio of everything and wants help from the New York Grievance Committee. Drake's position is that Layla is now breaching the agreement and wants the initial payment returned, to forgo the remaining balance, and have Layla possibly be responsible for significant damages.
