right? it’s just weird that people feel like you can’t do anything when you’re separated. my ex husband started dating his gf maybe a month or so after we separated and it took us two years to legally file for divorce and they’re still together! I obviously didn’t give a shit because we didn’t love/wanna be together anymore. like it’s really not a big deal

My parents split when I was a kid but stayed legally married so my mom could stay on my dads benefits through work. *shrugs* They didn't officially divorce until my brother and I left school. Like you said, what does it matter if both have already decided it's over?

I don't know why it took so long for him to file for divorce but he's been with the girlfriend pretty publicly for awhile. He took her to the *NSYNC walk of fame ceremony.

They all seem to get along, I think it was their oldest graduation that Kelly was there posing for pictures with the new girlfriend and Joey.
