Jake Gyllenhaal is set to star in produce a movie about convicted murderer Thomas Gilbert Jr. in an upcoming movie called "Gilded Rage." People who knew the killer are worried that the film will glamorize his life.
Bill Skarsgaard will play Thomas Gilbert Jr., who was convicted of murdering his hedge-fund-manager father, allegedly because he had cut off Gilbert Jr.'s allowance.
“They’re just going to glamorize Tommy. He doesn’t deserve that. Tommy can’t be the victim in this film - people need to remember he was a monster - a calculating, rage-filled psychopath,” said one socialite.
