*whispers* i don't like it. she released the best songs as singles and tbh i was only lukewarm to half of those.

not saying i expected an emotion 2.0 cuz that would be a lot to live up to, but i never expected to only love like 3 songs off the entire album. ugh, so disappointing.

i've been the exact opposite actually. i thought the singles were terrible but i'm bopping to the album tracks, and overall i think it works much better as a cohesive whole.

I feel like the opposite has been the conventional wisdom for a lot of folks. It certainly was for me. I was actually worried about this album because the singles were largely forgettable, but thankfully the album has much better stuff imo lmao.
