I used to like him until I started following him on Instagram. He comes off as such a fuckboy douche with his stupid tiny glasses and „cool“ poses in his stories. Copying J Balvins look isn’t cute either

He is a misogynistic asshole who supports right wing politicians on my (and sadly his) country , and not your average conservative Republican, I'm talking about a politician responsible for massacres of thousands of people , really idk why some of you support or even like this asshole

I mean he most likely believes that the countless accusations against that guy (Alvaro Uribe Velez) are "fake news" and lies to undermine him but the evidence against him is huge that his support to him and his candidate makes me angry, we are regressing badly in a lot of issues especially violence and I blame every single one of his supporters for that , especially famous and rich people like Maluma who can do whatever they want because they have money and privilege so don't have to worry about the state of the country if things get bad

Sorry for the rant I'm just really mad

No, you're not doing anything wrong! I wouldn't have known about this if not for this comment.

there isn's much information in non colombian media, but before the elections he made a video telling people to vote and he didn't say who people should vote to but he asked his mother and she said "Ivan Duque" the guy is the candidate of Alvaro Uribe Velez, a former president who is responsible for a lot of the violence that has happened here, supporting him was like supporting that guy , then when the guy got elected Maluma visited him to allegedly talk about his siter's foundation but at that same time there was a huge student's strike in my country and the president didn't want to talk with the students but talked to Maluma so both got a lot of flack.

you're completely right. but being fair, 90% of those big latino acts support the worst of the right-wing worse when it comes to politics, it's not only maluma. sebastian yatra's tweet about the election was even worse, yikes.

which isn't surprising considering most latino acts spend their whole time in Miami (which is a cesspool of rich fascist white Latinos) and idolize the US. unless it's an opportunity to bash socialism and pretend anything slightly left-wing is akin to Venezuela, most of them are nowhere to be seen.

Oh yes, that's true, it's not that i expected better of Maluma it's just infuriating that he is now so famous, but yeah overall latin-american artists ain't shit.
