I watch Gossip Girl literally every day (just about to start season 5 tonight!) and I actually kinda like Nate tbh.

Although I HATED that he didn't run after Blair after Chuck punched the window cutting her face. Bruh she's been your friend basically your whole life, you go fucking make sure she's okay, douche.

I literally forget his character exists whenever I watch GG. He's just so bland.

Nate's the best. He's surprisingly funny. He's so sad though because things just happen to Nate and he never knows how to deal with it. Maybe that's where the comedy comes from. Nate just shrugging off all these bad things around him.

Yeah Nate’s got the best heart of the main characters and he’s the one who meddles in sabotage the least lol. Tbh I think Nate and Raina were really cute. At first I was Serenate but now I don’t ship Serena with anyone anymore lol. She’s a mess.

Not even gonna lie, I only remember this show in detail up to season 4 (and even then it's just what Blair and Serena are getting up to). I have no idea what happened in season 5 and only remember funny or frustrating bits from season 6. Raina who now?

Raina was a character in the second half of season 4. She dated Chuck first then Nate. Her dad was Chuck’s business rival who kidnapped Blair in the finale. She was a gorgeous Black woman and I loved ha and wished she stuck around longer.

I think I remember this in passing. Vaguely. I do remember she was pretty. After Katie Cassidy, season 4 is a bit of a blur. I remember Serena dating that weird teacher/guy she put in jail and Blair and Dan fighting at an internship. The later parts of the show are a chore to get through because of the lack of character development. I can't believe you're watching it again. Or is this your first time? It's probably easier to bingewatch than week-to-week like I did.

I originally watched it when it aired but quit halfway through season 4 cause it was getting ridic and I was too busy with college at the time. So everything post mid-season 4 is new to me. I actually found myself enjoying season 4 a lot this binge. I'm nervous for season 5 though cause I hear it takes a deep dive but I'm excited for Dair!

Yeah that makes sense. I quit fully after the season 5 finale, but they were like 10 episodes left, and I was like FINE I can do that. I would have been here for Dair 100% if it wasn't for how they handled other relationships around it. The chemistry between the two if out of this world though. They were the saving grace of season 4 and 5.

I kind of think he would've ended up moving away from all of them and their toxic mess.
