To the total surprise of no one, 'Avengers Endgame' shattered yet another box office record (it already made over $100M in China on Wednesday, and $169M overall in international markets on Wed.), this time in North America.

Ignoring the budget/marketing (which I expect totaled half a billion easily), 'Avengers Endgame' started off its US/Canada box office with $60M on Thursday night in 4,600 (the biggest wide release ever), and is anticipated to make around $280M-$300M alone domestically this weekend, shattering the previous weekend record held by its predecessor, 'Infinity War' ($257.4M domestic; $640.5M overall domestic).

The previous Thursday record was held by 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' ($57M). Spoilers under cuts, etc.
