I've never had a "grown-up" party so I think that or at least a dinner with close friends for my 30th this year would be great. Or I just want to treat myself to a nice new handbag lol.

My aunt somehow convinced my very clueless dad that I need to start having a valuable jewelry collection (???) so he got me lab-diamond earrings. I'm very thankful for them obv but I was very surprised lol and my aunt was like "no more handbags, you're turning 30!!" like idek what that means??? Another aunt was like "you need to have a portrait of yourself painted" I guess we're living in the 1870s and I'm May Welland.
