April 10, 2019 The mentoring scheme is called Killer Women, an author collective of 20 female crime writers. It hopes to help “open doors to new and as yet undiscovered voices in crime fiction”.
JK Rowling has said that she knows how hard it is to be unknown, which is why she is backing the scheme aimed at discovering female crime writers from black, Asian, minority ethnic (BAME) and working-class backgrounds.
