- John Cho, Mustafa Shakir, Daniella Pineda and Alex Hassell are set to star in the Netflix live-action adaptation of the popular anime series Cowboy Bebop.
- Chris Yost (Thor: Ragnarock) will write and executive produce, with Alex Garcia Lopez (Daredevil) directing the first two episodes.
- In this futuristic western about bounty hunters in space, Cho will play Spike Spiegel, a bounty hunter skilled in Jeet Kune Do; Shakir will play Jet Black, a fellow bounty-hunter and captain of the Bebop; Pineda will play Faye Valentine, a bounty hunter with a mysterious past; and Hassell will play Vicious, a hitman who is also Spike's nemesis.
