The point is that this one the least popular originals that got a live-action remake, so although so the budget should have definitely been kept in check. It will be lucky to break-even with Shazam coming next weekend.
And lol, my original Google search threw up 950,000 USD for the Dumbo budget

Dumbo is probably more popular with an older generation than is typically on ONTD (like, maybe around Burton's age), but I dunno know if they will go out and see it in the theater in droves. I don't really envision that, unless they want to totally stick it to their kids and take their grandkids to see it, get them some ice cream afterwards, take them back home immediately and leave their adult kids with any kiddo emotional fallout. But I can't say I'd really feel bad if Disney lost money on this.
