Tim Burton's latest, the very sanitized (and boring) live-action adaptation of 'Dumbo' kicked off this weekend's box office with $2.6M from Thursday night previews. Disney's expecting its latest to make around $50 million this weekend (on a $170M budget).

'Dumbo's expected to hit the top spot this weekend, followed closely by Jordan Peele's 'Us'. Two other features are out in somewhat limited release (around 1000 theatres each), 'Unplanned' and the star-studded 'The Beach Bum'. Both are expected to bring in around $3M each this weekend.
