MeAgain really hates the truth, huh? Sunny point blank said that Biden has yet to apologize and just because MM knows him personally she doesn't wanna talk about it? She really has to make everything about her. Sad!

She’s definitely gonna be running with Biden and that’s a mistake.

joe biden is getting the trump media treatment but no one dares talk about it. FUCK him. may he rot for what he did to Ms. Hill.

we truly are doomed.

stacey, like beto, were "good" in comparison to their opponents.

now... they literally don't make any sense. terrible policies. GOD AWFUL record.

I remember learning in college that the media picks the nominees and its so scary. I don't want it to be Biden.

she also has a track record of cooperating with Republican lawmakers in very damaging policies. the excuse, of course, is that she cooperated with them so the policy wouldn't be as damaging as they could potentially be but not everyone buys it.

People need to stop fuckin flip flopping before the elections! None of the gop do this, that’s why they win. If you’re gonna run, go all out, if you’re unsure, don’t bother. We need more aggressive progressives, otherwise the vote is gonna be split too thin again. I’m worried now, there’s NO solidarity on the left.

The GOP wins because they fall in line. Most of them they don't care how terrible the person is that ends up being their candidate or representing their party. They double-down and they win. Evangelicals had zero qualms about voting for Trump because he said he would stop abortion and he'd pack the SCOTUS. And the ones with reservations folded the minute he was elected and they knew they had power. They also win because they find ways to cheat and go around the system to create new precedent for everything.

I think Democrats could learn to be a bit more pragmatic. Everybody has to decide which candidate they are comfortable with when going to primary/caucus, but at the end of the day I think we also want to beat Trump. There are declared candidates that I don't particularly care for, but if that person is the nominee I will vote for that person to push the democratic agenda.

I agree. I just hope the dems figure out a plan for this, they should already know that the gop is gonna everything they can to not get voted out. They need to work as a team, stay calm, and listen to their constituents. People are hungry for change, we have another shot at finding someone like Obama, in ‘08. He’s not the best example, but there was definitely something in the air back then, you could feel it.

I can’t wait for the election posts, this place is gonna electric.

This is my first caucus in Iowa (moved in June) and I might be the only person I know who is excited, but most of my friends and family are in North Dakota and Minnesota. I am enjoying the weekly visits within the radius. It confirms that the Democratic party is where I belong despite my disagreements or its flaws.

I've had so many interesting and surreal moments since the beginning of March when the first campaign came to town. I've also gotten 52 campaign emails (from four candidates) since March 3rd. Yes, I'm keeping track just to see how many I get until the caucus. That doesn't include the texts (mostly from Beto's team, who I didn't get to see). lol
