- Mortensen is playing the son
- Terry Chen is playing Mortensen's character's partner, Laura Linney is playing his sister, Hannah Gross (who is 26) will be playing his mother (in flashbacks) and Lance Henriksen is playing the father
- The movie is set in Southern California but is currently shooting in Toronto
