Some of the acts don't feel~ all that Woodstock-y compared to the 1969 version but now that I think about it neither was the mess that was 1999.
So lets see how this goes.

Although I heard people calling out the prices which are EXPENSIVE apparently.

Haven't been announced, but, 3 days and 80+ bands, yeah I'm expecting at least $100/day.

I went to Woodstock 99 and I paid $185 for my Thurs-Sun camping pass. Water there was $4/bottle and I paid $10 for a shitty wrap with an entire onion in it. In 99, those prices were ridiculous.

I was also groped by college bros and I was 16 at the time, so that's cool.

That Woodstock was plain awful and out of a horror movie, I read back then even rapes happened.

I'm so sorry that happened to you.

Thanks, it's just weird because I always looked my age. So these scumbags just didn't care that they were groping an underage girl while she was crowd surfing.

Yeah, I was there too and it was horrible. The overpricing of everything was ridiculous, the filthy stench from the overflowing port-a-potties was gross, and when the riots broke out, I thought armageddon was coming, it looked so scary af. I'm not putting myself through that anymore.

Yeah I heard the overpriced water bottle really pissed people off.

Gross at those college fuckboys.

All the festival insiders are saying it’s going to be expensive as hell or they’re going to need to sell 200k, which is highly unlikely with them not appealing to the EDM crowd.

It's just funny to me because people are like 'Woodstock was soooo cool and far out, man' and, yeah, it was, but it was also a mess and not particularly well-planned. But it pretty much all worked out, which is why it's still a thing. No one wants to recreate Altamount, and for good reason. Woodstock -- the worst thing was some brown acid (maybe) and a bunch of smelly, high hippies being smelly, high hippies.

Now everyone is going to be Ubering in or whatever.

Is there a comparable nostalgia act to take Sha Na Na's place? Oh, Backstreet Boys and NSync super-group. That'd do the trick.
