Britney Spears hasn't tweeted nor instagram'd in 2 months, 15 days, 6 hours, 19 minutes, and 31 seconds and I can't take it!!!! Where is she? Is she ok? How are the boys? How long's her hair? What color is it now? I'm getting daily content from Jamie Lynn, but where is Britney???
And that was just a quick lil’ last minute thrown together Summer tour of her 4-year-old Vegas residency. And she still pulled big numbers. You know, that washed up Vegas act where careers go to die? I have to laugh.
Imagine if it was a brand new tour with a new album and actual effort. 💁♀️

Britney is part of the redefining of what it means now to have a Vegas residency. Obvs people like Elton, Celine, and Shania have been there longer I think the current girls on the strip like Gaga, Gwen,JLO, Mariah, and now Christina got probably more comfortable with the idea after probably seeing Britney's numbers/success.
Plus realistically its probably less stressful compared to global touring.
There was a perception that you went to Vegas when you could no longer sell tours, which Elton and Celine changed by showing that it could work without making them look like has-beens or ready for retirement. But it was still a place for older artists/ people who weren't current mainstream pop until Britney
The difference between Helene Fischer's gross and Taylor Swift is crazy, especially considering they're both pretty local to one area of Europe. Taylor's average gross is impressive, so Helene must have done a million dates, which is also impressive.
I'm expecting P!nk's European tour to outdo these numbers easily though
The residency was one of the best business decisions her team made this decade. She's been MIA for so long, I hope she's okay. Her dad's poor health and the possibility of him dying puts her in a precarious position tbh. I wonder what's next for her. I think a couple year break would be good. I know super stans want her back now but honestly, she needs a break.
I'm kind of hoping she'll stay quiet, take a long ass time playing around in the studio, and then maybe in 18 months have a new album/residency. I know the Vegas schedule wasn't anything like a tour but it was several years, she earned a break
