Not that age has anything to do with it but her super dark Blair hair was so good on her.

I think it fucked up her hair though, she had really nice full bodied hair at the beginning of the show and by the end (and now even) it got really stringy and thin looking.

Yeah, it happens to nearly all Hollywood actresses. Nicole Kidman is like a prime example of this. Even though she wears wigs now she still dyes her hair so it's a fried out mess and she lost her curls.

I think they just used to put a ton of extensions into her hair during the earlier seasons, that's why it looked fuller. It looked just as think when she guested starred on House MD.
