I see Bernie Sanders has put out a statement in support of Rep. IlHan Omar while the women of the Democratic Party leadership have abandoned her after failing to tokenize her. But yes, we need more of those women.

How Ilhan Omar is being treated is just so frustrating.

Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren both issued statements today in support of Rep. Omar and the Democratic party leadership in the House has delayed/abandoned the proposed resolution. So it all appears to be over at this point.

Funny, in the latest poll, the majority of Democratic voters don't identify as progressives at all, not even close. They identify as Obama or moderate Dems. Also, no candidate Bernie endorsed managed to flip a single seat in the House. Sad.

The loudest voices defending Ilhan Omar were progressives

it's ridiculous to me that they're calling people misogynistic when they pick and choose when to play the "you NEED to support other women" card on us. i don't vote with my vagina, but i do feel more excited about it when the person representing my values is a woman.

The whole thing is infuriating, and proves the point.
