Follow-up to
this post. Marvel is looking for an out gay actor to play what could be our first gay superhero. Here's 20 guys that could play the role:
20. Chris Salvatore
Chances of landing the role: 2/10.
Pro: Very cute. With a bit of a lean body that could be trained to be a superhero.
Cons: I don't think Disney's gonna love his Eating Out roles, nor that his dick is all over Pornhub.
19. Darryl Stephens
Chances of landing the role: 2/10.
Pro: If Marvel is going full on diversity, Darryl has been out for a while and has the superhero physique.
Cons: Very unknown and Noah's Arc and DTLA weren't the most popular shows out there.
18. Taron Egerton
Not gay? Are you sure?...fine, i'll pick another one.
18. Cheyenne Jackson
Chances of landing the role: 4/10.
Pro: Well known among the community. Kinda funny but one dimensional.
Cons: Deer on headlights eyes. Sex tape leaked, which Disney hates.
17. Ben Whishaw
Chances of landing the role: 4/10.
Pro: Golden Globe Winner.
Cons: Besides James Bond, not sure if he's into big franchises. Not very superhero looking.
16. Darren Young
Chances of landing the role: 2/10.
Pro: He could be gay version of The Rock and John Cena. Remember his
coming out a few years ago?
Cons: Can he act?

Pro: He's well known and already working for Marvel.
Cons: Has to officially come out.
14. Matt Bomer

Pro: He was on Dante's Cove.
Cons: He was on Dante's Cove.
12. Rick Cosnett
Chances of landing the role: 5/10.
Pro: Used to superhero world. He played Eddie Thawne on the Flash. He's kinda unknown which has been Marvel's trademark for a few years
Cons: The Flash's creator has said they want him back to play a villain.
11. Andrew Hayden-Smith
Chances of landing the role: 2/10.
Pro: Nobody. Liked Sci-fi and has a history with Doctor Who.
Cons: Can't act if he's life depends on it. Too bland.
10. Scott Evans
Chances of landing the role: 4/10.
Pro: Chris Evans is leaving, so having his brother is one way to sort keep the Evans gene in the MCU so...go nepotism!
Cons: Cocaine problems, an arrest, dick picks all over the internet. That's a no-no for Disney.
09. Wentworth Miller
Chances of landing the role: 6/10.
Pro: Out, cute, very smart and not working with DC anymore.
Cons: The high profile attention the role brings could be a lot for his depression and anxiety.
08. Jonathan Bennett
Chances of landing the role: 3/10.
Pro: ...he's...cute... ?
Cons: Too much of a Z-lister already...He's hosting The Food Network!
07. Ricky Martin
Chances of landing the role: 8/10.
Pro: Emmy nominated Ricky Martin could be a nice choice. High profile casting. Very handsome. Superhero type. Latino. Non-problematic.
Cons: While he's Emmy nominated, it's not like he's a supreme actor. The again, it's a Marvel film. you don't need to.
06. Colton Haynes
Chances of landing the role: 6/10.
Pro: He sort of already is a superhero in Arrow.
Cons: Suffers from BryanFulleritis and leaves every role he gets. Also he might look a bit too young.
05. Sean Maher
Chances of landing the role: 8/10.
Pro: Poor man's Matt Bomer, so see all of the above. He did Firefly so loves his nerdy fans.
Cons: Weakest link in Firefly.
04. Neil Patrick Harris
Chances of landing the role: 7/10.
Pro: Likeable over all. He might draw a few eyeballs because 'Oh, it's Barney Stinson/Doogie Howser!'
Cons: Not really a superhero type.
03. Super Macho Russell Tovey
Chances of landing the role: 8/10.
Pro: He played The Ray in the Arrowverse, but talks for his solo show fell through.
Cons:
"U GUYS. I'M SO LUCKY MY DAD DID NOT ALLOW ME TO BE A FEMME GAY".
02. Wilson Cruz
Chances of landing the role: 7/10.
Pro: Cute, superhero type, and has been out for a while.
Cons: Marvel could have some issues with his love for events and nudity. i also love his relationship in Star Trek so much.
01. Luke Evans
What's that? He hasn't officially come out?... well, fuck him if he's gonna come out just for a role. Not my #1.
01. Luke MacFarlane
Chances of landing the role: 9/10.
Pro: Marvel's like most of Grindr, they have a type: Masc, white, discreet, handsome, muscle guy and he checks most of the boxes. He's into sci-fi. He could be your new Marvel Star.
Cons: His acting is ok, maybe he can surprise us. He surprised me on
The Night Shift. Source: Me and my gay ass.
