format was fully agreed by the Board of Governors and each branches' executive committees back in August

yeah i bet they totally consented to this and there wasn't any bullying or thinly-veiled threats along the way.

i hate that this is one oscars ceremony that i'm even 1% adverse to, just because it's one shit decision after another

God, it's honestly kind of amazing how much they are managing to piss off everyone that actually likes the Oscars while still getting a resounding "no1curr" from the masses whose approval they are trying so desperately to win.

like this year there are multiple genuine hits & A-listers nominated and yet it's still probably going to be one of their lowest-rated ceremonies ever because of the sheer incompetence.
