Someone who met him in person at Sundance said IRL he's more handsome than Jon Hamm...which no one at ONTD will believe, I'm sure.

I'm obsessed with Adam Driver and have never been impressed with Jon Hamm so this pleases me to read. And Adam generally looks better in film than in pictures so I can believe this.

jon hamm is like 50 and notorious for being a really heavy drinker iirc, I wouldn't be surprised if adam looks better than him irl just by virtue of being ~15 years younger and (probably? idk much about his personal life) not an alcoholic tbh regardless of whether you actually like his face or not lmao

This wasn’t a passive-aggressive/shady compliment or comparison to either of them. The intro to the comment by this person was literally, “They both looked really great...” followed by the surprising opinion that supposedly unconventionally attractive-borderline ugly Driver is actually just straight-up handsome IRL.

honestly anyone that ever gets a leading role in anything w/ an actual budget is probably attractive irl (or was in their youth if they're old) - if you're truly average and/or ugly hollywood will only let you be a character actor and maybe sometimes lead in a no-budget indie.

This is so true. I’m even trying to think of character actors who have bad skin...and I’m drawing a blank. The flaws that the camera highlights, like disproportionate/uneven features and big noses probably aren’t noticeable in real life. Healthy skin/hair, good eyes/lips, I think, are what people price first.
