Whew, that Netflix documentary about the Fyre Festival made by Jerry Media certainly backfired on them. Comedians such as John Mulaney, Colin Hanks, and Whitney Cummings have now joined a movement that was started by writer Megh Wright. They urge online users to unfollow FuckJerry, the popular Instagram account that shares stolen memes and jokes from others.

Mulaney told his followers, “it’s not the most pressing issue of the day, but yeah, unfollow this garbage account. they have stolen jokes from me and many other comedians and profit off it.” Hanks posted a similar message, but, a lot longer and he really went in on them (behind the cut).

Just yesterday, Comedy Central announced it was pulling its advertisement from the FuckJerry account and said it had “no plans to advertise with Jerry Media in the future.”
