I have thought about doing a personal project that's basically a proper web app format of the yourfavisproblematic tumblr. But I'm sure there would be a ton of ~anti-PC backlash from a very large and vocal group lmao

Just started working as a software developer in SF. Having projects is always better than not having projects for certain. If you are aiming for a web app development career, I would recommend making sure that you understand REST and APIs throughly. Also try to apply to internships and other stuff sooner rather than later. The market for new grads is a little saturated right now, so making sure you have a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms is important
