That Maisie Williams movie looks like the ultimate Manic Pixie Dream Girl movie, but the (very few)reviews on Letterboxd say it's not cliche. I'm probably still not gonna watch it.

I wanted to see Piercing, even though Ryu Murakami is very hit and miss for me, but even knowing there are gonna be some twists, I'm not a fan of the premise or the trailer.

I'm so watching the Maisie movie. All but one review have been good, people who've seen it that I've spoken too have loved it, and I stan both Maisie and Nina, plus people who aren't even Maisie-fans have said she's fabulous in it. Others have said it's her best film role. I can't wait until tomorrow to watch it!

I really enjoyed it. Obviously, I'm a Maisie fan so I was inclined to like her performance, but this was definitely my favorite movie performance by her, and my favorite film she's done. She was just so lovely and adorable and I found myself completely charmed by her.

I also love Nina Dobrev, and I thought she did a good job with a pretty slight role. That is probably, alas, my one main criticism... her role was too slight and underwritten.

I did like the writing for the other characters for the most part, especially, of course, Maisie's character, Skye, and Asa Butterfield's character, Calvin. I thought they had a really nice chemistry and the film did a nice job in showing this really beautiful platonic love.

I will not lie, I totally cried. I also do not regret buying the film before even watching it. I mean, it wasn't like this masterpiece or anything and won't win any awards, but it was sweet little film and if you're a fan of Maisie and/or Asa Butterfield, a definite rec!
