January 29, 2019- The first still from Misbehaviour has been released showing Gugu Mbatha-Raw will play Jennifer Holsten, the first black woman to win the title of Miss World
- The film focuses on the 1970 Miss World pageant held in London where feminists protested the event by throwing flour bombs, South Africa was allowed to send segregated Miss South Africas (one black and one white) and Miss Grenada won despite getting fewer #1 votes than Miss Sweden
- Philippa Lowthorpe is directing a cast that includes Keira Knightley, Keely Hawes, Lesley Manville, Greg Kinnear and Rhys Ifans
