I just want my photos on instagram in order tho.

Also, it drives me nuts I had to download messenger just to talk to my sister. Why not just let me use the facebook app?

I wonder what their reasoning is for not going back, no one seems to like the way it currently is, esp people who make money on instagram since engagement seems to have gone down for a lot of them.

IG can place more ads in a non-chronological timeline

They have zero reason to want to change it back. Zuckerberg is 100% of the mind that he can do whatever he wants. And he's not exactly wrong either. Over 2 billion people use his flatforms and have stuck around despite the blatant invasion of privacy, the rampant abuse allowed to go unchecked, etc.

Until mass amount of people start ditching these apps (which isn't gonna happen), he doesn't give a single fuck what we complain about because at the end of the day, we're still using the apps. You even have websites like Buzzfeed who report rather diligently on all the bullshit Zuckerberg pulls and yet they still use the Facebook comment system.

They want users to pay for engagement. The goal is to have your timeline all fucked up and hard to reach your following unless you pay, same with Facebook.

Like other has said, it all comes down to money. They want people to pay for their posts to show up first.

They'll never do it. Not as long as Zucks is around.

I've been so frustrated with it I deleted all my pics. Moved the app to my "ignore" folder and I open it like once a week now.
