Whew!!!!! Okay, so last year Elon Musk decided to impress his new girlfriend, c/Grimes/ Claire when she taught him the meaning of the term 420. Elon Musty who thought this hilarious decided to tweet out that he was going to take Tesla from a public company to private one and joke about the shares being $420 a pop. The SEC did not take too kindly to Musk's tweet as this tempts shareholders to short sell their stock. The SEC charged him with fraud and to avoid time in the pokey, Musk paid a fine of $20 million and was forced to step down as Tesla chairman.
But the investors ain't done as they have subpoenaed wholesale chicken supplier and former rapper Azealia Banks and her (former?) friend Grimes to produce their back and forth text messages and other evidence that can be used against Musty. Tesla investors are suing Musk about the misleading tweet costing shareholders millions of bucks. Grimes is thought to be the last person Musty spoke with before sending the now deleted tweet while Banks was trying to sell soaps in their driveway.
