She’s attractive but she can’t compete with an attractive woman 20 years her junior, esp one that hasn’t had kids. The way we view women and female beauty is so tied to youth that it’s just not possible. That being said I doubt it was just about looks, he would have left her 10 years ago if so, and the reality is all women can do is live their best lives, we can’t stop men thinking with their dicks.

Her being beautiful had nothing to do with it. As an actor he's always around beautiful people; the problem is him letting himself get into a situation where he would be tempted and then being unable to be honest with his wife or control himself. He's a pig.

I feel like it comes down to ego more than anything. I feel like they find women who will buy into their bullshit and ~adore them or some shit. They don’t want a woman who can go head to head with them. Also, it’s an ego boost to “score” a younger woman.
